Recommend FTP Client

Because we use a modified version of our FTP server, I have had several complaints about it not working with their clients. However it fully works with ftp.exe and the following products:

I personally use Secure/FX Registers

I found a freeware client that works 100% with out freehost servers.

FTP Commander Pro 7.75
http://www.internet-soft.com/cftp.htm


Please post what client you successfully use with our freehost, so I can add it to my list of approved clients. FTP Commander Pro may look a little old school, but using it a small price to pay for freehosting.

Ehh.. this entire thread is devoted to letting you know what to do.. use a different ftp client ;). I can confirm that LeapFTP does NOT work.. can't delete folders. ty for posting this queue :).

BTW FTP Commander has the same problem as LeapFTP, can't delete directories.

GlobalScape CuteFTP Professional doesnt let you rename server files nor change file permissions for some reason on pimpedhost.

I've changed my FTP Client to Secure FX.. works perfectly.
