Is it a good idea to use this, i use it for my paid hosting. just seeing if that's the case for freehost...thanks

We don't allow you to use to .htaccess on the freehost. If it's to protect you from hotlinking. We have our own software in place that takes care of that.
We also don't allow people to use it as it could slow down the server.
