Good God! That is just IMPOSSIBLE!

It sounds like what they're saying is that all sites with adult content or images, even affiliate sites that just carry free content and banners and so forth, need to maintain some sort of master directory off ALL the images they use, and have used, with the complete list of ALL URLs that the image has ever appeared in, as well as links for that image to verifiable record sites that will allow the authenticity the images and identity and age of the actors to be immediately known.

Can anyone spell: HOSTING IN AMSTERDAM?

It sounds like we all may be going to mostly text based pages soon, if this thing takes effect.

If i read it correctly its for new images/videos(records of) created after the ruling comes into effect?

"Proposed 28 CFR 75.2 contains a new paragraph (d)
providing for a forward application of the provision of the rule to
require that any record that is created for a performer after the
effective date of the final rule must include updating of related
records to reflect the current standards. This requirement is not a
retroactive application, but a requirement that any future change in
the records must ensure that all records relating to that performer are
complete."

So we can all use the old stuff and newer stuff will be hard to come by?

If you’re an affiliate there is an easy solution to the problem, use non-sexually explicit promotional material. Don’t forget this applies to banners too.

Well they say less than 5% of sites are even in compliance with current laws.
(which is already a felony)
He admitted, inspections haven't occured but now guaranteed they will.

Also from what I read hosting overseas will not help anyone.

Just this open vulnerability alone to me is a nightmare. Can you believe this is the 21 Century and this is USA??

This really needs some publicity and fighting. People think this has to be approved by congress or something. NOT... From what I read. After 60 days it is in effect.
