What host do you use and why?

I've joined host camZ few months ago mostly because they are free and they don't restrict traffic or anything.
I've used other free hosting but there was always some restriction and they don't have that.
I know some ppl might not choose a free host because you have to put their banners on your site, and yes host camz does the same but upon joining host camz you also join private camz and the affiliate code from that is going on your host camz banners so you even make money of those.

Can't lose, can ya ;)

I got a domain at revsharehosting since 2002. Even tho they are blacklisted here and there, it's still the best of all the freehost (In this case revshare host). It permits me to limit bandwith with my paying host...Also i am loyal to Meastro and now Matt. They work hard for this to work.

My paying host is godaddy, virtual dedicated. I got a full server at layeredtechnologies but i found i was using only 30% of the bandwith. Since i don't do movies godaddy was a logical choice financially. So i manage a redhat server with a Plesk panel. It was a bit hard to configure the httpd.conf at first but now the thing seems stable. Godaddy has a good reputation, basicely i buy domains from them and i am also hosted there.

I can't say enough about those guys over at Rev-Share Hosting. Back in the day when Maestro came to me and said, "my affiliates keep asking about PimpRoll, you guys need to get on board with us" I figured I was going to put a whole bunch of work into it for nothing, but Rev-Share hosting has pumped new webmasters and sales over to us steady for almost two years now. Since Matt took over, things have been the same, and for once, that is a good thing!

I always recommend a paid host to anyone who asks me what they should do about hosting. Even the guys that say "I'm a newb, and don't want to invest much $" I still say to them, better off getting a paid host. But if you are not willing to pay for hosting, or if you find out that a specific portion of your traffic is using the majority of your bandwidth; Rev-Share Hosting is a company willing to pay your bandwidth bill for you!

I use mojohost. It's the only place I have ever had hosting and they have never given me a reason to look elsewhere. Lots of pipe and good support :)

We have a few boxes with cyberwurx. Paulhem, I've heard both good and bad about that one... and I only have one experience with them.
