I was in this industry for about 1 year now, I tried everything, at first I submitted galleries, bought my own domain, hosting... it worked somehow... I was very optimistic, I submitted every day a gallery to the big tgps and later using a submitter to the most tgps... every 2nd day 1 gallery. After 30 I made few sales ... after the 30rd!.. the gallery generated about 300 $. I was happy.. :) I submitted more and more galleries... but never ever got 300$.. maybe 100$ in 1 month :( I canceled the hosting because I didnt have the money for it...
I really dont want to quit this industry because I know there is big money in it. (just not for me? ;) )

can anyone give me few ideas how to get at least 1 sale for 1 gallery? or is there something better then gallery submissions?

Build a free site - with surfer traps - get listed in search engines/link lists/toplists and anywhere else you can.
Tgps have limits.......your own site doesnt.....

Example....they hit your site click to a gallery and a popunder to a sponsor loads waiting for when they leave. When they go to your gallery u can filter foreign traffic off through a dialler and let the USA/can surfer try make a sale.
If its a gallery of say 16 photos make the last photo a link to a sponsor in case they ignore banners.
when they leave they see your popunder (from script on your main page) and here u can have as many offerings/options as u want....including a popunder/pop up on exit etc etc. Diallers/emailcatchers/all sorts that tgps dont allow which give u more chances to make $$$.

Very few people rely totally on Tgp galleries to make money unless they have nailed down a certain niche or use paid listings.

Diversify!!

Do some google searches on general porn sites and look at the top 5 results in each for ideas.

You can also use free hosting/revshare!

Quite a few sponsors let you use this method if u dont wanna use bandwidth or cant afford more. Just the payout is a little less.

Get your own traffic back!!

if you have say 30 galleries make copies and host them on a different directory and make an index page listing all of them.

I.E your own *fake* TGP.

Make a recip button and put it on all the galleries that u submit to TGPs and u will get traffic back....

on your own Tgp u can do what u like with the surfers......

I searched the net for new / good ideas. At first, I will start a TGP like a madthumbs.com just better.. ;) today I ordered a new server @ http://www.servermatrix.com/ I pay 79 for 1200 GB! (Traffic) I think that is very good, i found servermatrix on the pimprollers.com board! cool board btw, I am a software developer (C++, PHP, CGI, VB, .NET) i will write a software in PHP for the TGP, I think I need about 1 week...

but at first i need to configure the server, need maybe 1 week more for this, i hate this... but now I am motivated and am "back" in this business... i will not give up.

One other thing u need to do is make sure all your gallery pages are optimised for the search engines.

Google etc will crawl the TGPs and you can get good SE listings and good traffic if u do your gallery tags correctly. I have many number 1 listings in google from old tgp galleries from 2 yrs ago.

You are right that there is still big money to be made in this business.
Im increasing my income every month by being adaptable and changing when i see an opportunity - pimproll was a good move for some of my traffic.especially gay black traffic.

Certain sponsors convert miles better for certain types of traffic....test them and then use the best for each niche.

I can give one example.......my gay asian traffic

AT the old ARS it converted ok 1:800 range
ARS pulled their gay asian sites

Sunnydollars my traffic didnt make a single sale in 3 weeks 0: 7000
Zooted.com same story 0:3000

Topbucks used to suck but i gave it another try as very few gay asian sponsors left.....result = 10 sales so far this month @ 1: 300 which im more than happy with.

Same story with gay Black traffic............Pimproll outperforms the rest by miles. Some weeks 1:200 and always less than 1:700 except for 1 freak week.

My basic rule now is 2 weeks maximum and if it dont sell im outa there. Some people will say wait longer but i cant afford to.the 3 weeks i was with sunnydollars asian site i could have made $400 or more elsewhere.

With my other traffic it would cost a lot more as were talking 5-10 times the amount comapred to asian/black.

Well.....a gay asian site would be good.....but i know thats a way off here.

Anyways you will see my traffic increasing here from today.

One of my other sponsors sites went from 1:600 to 1:6000 so im dropping that and spreading the traffic between Stunningtsuds/supremecock.
