Ok, this tip is for those submitting TGP and/or MGP galleries, and find that the first day or two of the listing they get traffic, and beyond that it's just a repeating cycle. Make use of that traffic so as time goes on, you're less and less reliant on that burst of "new listing" traffic. Some of you may already be doing this, some may not.

One important thing that I think a lot of webmasters miss is making more out of the traffic than simply sending it to the ads on the gallery. So try this to make more of it. Create your own TGP niche page. For instance, if you are submitting a lot of mature niche galleries, create a page on your own domain at domainroot/mature/index.html. On this page, have a simple title ("ABC Mature Links" or something), a "bookmark this page" link, list a bunch of Mature FHG galleries, and have a copyright at the bottom. Very simple design. Now instead of submitting your mature gallery to 3 TGP's, submit to 2 TGP's and also include a recip back to the new page you created, using the name you used.

This does a couple of things. First of all, you will get some clicks coming in from that recip link. While it may not be a large volume of clicks, they will all be real humans who actually clicked the link, and thats valuable traffic. Plus, your page is focussed specifically on the niche they are interested in and every gallery carries your link code. Second, search engines like to list relevant sites. As they spider the TGP's where your gallery is listed, they will come to your niche page through the recip and give it a listing as well. Third, as you grow this page and other niche pages, you can link them together with a simple "looking for something else" type of table and you have the beginnings of your own TGP.

It is important to list the galleries that you're submitting with your own recip on your own page as well. In addition, you should create a small table of "trades" which at first will simply be links to the TGP's to which you submitted the gallery. Think about it, these TGP's are allowing you to recip back to your own page. If they review this page and check your recip and see no links back to them, it's not really very fair. Also, as you grow your page with more and more submitted galleries, you may want to add a trade script and contact the TGP webmasters for a "real" trade. You will have high quality clicks to trade back, thats a nice little advantage. At the beginning, I suggest a straight hard link out of courtesy.

As you build various niche galleries, you build the niche pages to match. Now you have a whole network of pages, targetted to your incoming traffic. It's not far from being a nice "real" TGP in and of itself that you can market for trades or even sell ad space if you work on adding to it steadily. Keep it nice and clean and relevant to each niche, and it is a more valuable SE page as well.

This is a great tip - its how i got top listed in google for first time years back. You can build a great network over time.

I would add it also helps if you have hosting in say 3 different places with different domain names ( similar names though) using Toms techniques. if one domain gets penalised by google for any reason you dont drop too much traffic and can adjust links on the others to suit.
