none of the staff are available on ICQ, hopefully someone will be online soon, or visit the board. Pimproll, if and when u read this, pls fix the ebonycandy issue as well. haven't been able to get hold of anyone on ICQ the last couple of days.

Hey guys,
This is a long weekend up here in the Great White North which would explain lack of ICQ contact. However, I am diligently trying (great start to my vacation) to get someone to fix these issues as I cannot fix them myself.

Blitz - maybe you can call a couple more people in off their "vacations"?? This sucks, to say the least.

I wish it was that easy. I will get the access necessary to prevent/fix this in the future... mark my words.

Well let's hope so.

I understand that today is a Canadian holiday, but 5+ hours of down time is the pits. Not only is everyone losing money, but webmasters who use PPC are sending those costly hits no where.

sigh

I hear you, I really do. I too am a webmaster and trust me... I will gain the access to deal with this so as to prevent/minimize uncontrolled downtime.

Somebody should have some emergency number to call or an email address that alerts a cell phone or something. This is going on a long time.

Yeah, you'd think they'd have some kind of alarm system that would notify the techs as soon as something like this happens with the servers (anytime, day or night). Certainly can't rely on someone just happening to check the board and seeing a bitch thread that's hours old to discover that there's a problem.

Anywho.. thanks Blitz! Any help at all is greatly appreciated

I will be the alarm system once given the proper access.

hehe well what I meant was, something mechanical and automatic. Even you have to sleep sometime :)

Do you happen to have an estimated time that you can get access and it can be fixed? Or are we waiting until we can get in touch with someone??

sigh.. as aggravated as I am now, I'm glad that I haven't been at home most of the evening or I'd certainly be frustrated as hell at this point. :2gunsfiri

Blitz, some sites are up, others are still down (ebonycandy.com). Are you still working on the problem? Any estimated time as too when this will be fixed?
