Default Maple Leafs miss the playoffs!

ok, so it's not official, but the leafs have a tough closing schedule, and they really suck, so chances are, they are out, and will not beat Ottawa out in the first round of the playoffs! Basically, Ottawa is going to win the cup this year, and there is nothing any of you can do to stop it!

Tampa has a good squad, but lightning never strikes twice, and when Prospal has more points than St. Louis and Vinnie L, they look more like Dolts than Bolts

The Canadians are barely there...After their performance against Pittsburgh and now Islanders, i wonder if they are gonna make it. The team lacks any kinds of soul.

The Leafs, well...you have Pat Quinn as coach. I don't have to add anything else....

lol, Quinn should have been outa there ages ago! As far as the Canadians are concerned, it's tough for any team in Montreal to get out of a rut, as the fans turn on their own team so fast, I've watched Habs games where they are on a 3 game winn streak, give up 1 soft goal and the fans in Montreal willl litterally Boo for the entire rest of the period. I understand their passion for winning, but you gots to stand behind your boys!

I agree with you 100%. They did quite a number Patrice Bribebois, you know...They put a lot of pressure on the hockey players at home, too much sometimes. The problem is that it's always the same group of fans that does this...They think that if they pay 75$ for a ticket, that they can do anything.

Put them in a 5 years loosing streak like at the time with the Nordiques, and i think they would enjoy themself a bit more when they win...

As for Quinn, man...I was so sure we would loose at the Olympics with him and the Gretzsky fan club...and we did. He lost all kinds of credibility in my eyes as a coach. Sure the Leafs had some injury, but your team isn't fit for the type of hockey that is played now in the NHL. And you can certainly blame Ferguson and Quinn for that...

I've been saying this for months.

The olympics were no coincidence.

Aint that the truth. Anyone can argue either way, that the players that went to the olympics deserved to be there or didn't. the fact is the players that went didn't matter. We should have won with who we sent, we should have won if Spezza and Crosby were there, and we should have won if Yzerman and Lemieux refused to give up and no young guys got to go, hell, if we sent two teams, we should have won gold and silver. However, you can't win without good coaching, and our team was completely devoid of any good coaching. Quinn? ya right, he's been a bumb for years. Martin? not much better, coached a stacked Ottawa Senators to an early summer 4 times in a row. So we sent the best talent in the world, and along with them, 1 coach who says no ones trying when his team loses, and 1 coach that forces the most offensively talented young team in the N to get up 1 goal and then collapse around their goalie!

The Canadians are there, for the moment! They rocks! I can't beleive they could finish even in 6 place.

Florida are better then the Leafs...that's...disturbing. The CH quick their ass during last week end. I hope they didn't cry too much...Oh well, you can watch the Blue Jays loose this summer (Just teasing).

With 7 points between 8th and 9th spot in the East, I believe the final standings for the regular season will not change from what there are now, so basically anyone not already in a playoff spot in the East is done!

Yah...but in the west it's crazy! Sadly i can see much of those games apart the saturday night on CBC. I would really like the Oilers to be there, but Roloson...is Roloson. They don't make great choices with their goalies since a couple of years.

The Mighty Ducks, i think will be there because they are on freaking roll, with the Sharks. After that...

Actually there is only 5 points. Though the Maple leafs are 7 points back from 8th place. In fact Atlanta is 5 points of from the 6th seed. Now they play the Bolts tomorrow so if the Bolts win then that should pretty much drop them out of the race.

There Sure Are!
I'm Originally from Ottawa, living in Windsor, and I feel like I am being watched all day cause I walk around here with a Sens hat and Jersey, meanwhile most people down here are under the assumption that the NHL only has two teams, Toronto, and Detroit.
