Whats "low cost" these days? Is $99 a month for 250GB of transfer "low cost"?

I am not sure what you mean by unmetered...I use godaddy virtual dedicated server:

That is low cost for the amount of transfer. But that server is cut in two. Perfect for pictures users, but you need to work the httpd.conf a bit with redhat plan.

Find a low cost plan for your need. Both of them require you manage your server yourself. If you are a movie guy, that's a good option. Till now adult content wasn't a problem with them.

There is no low cost in full manage server...they start at 300$ per month, typically. Otherwise self manage server begins at 65 to 100$.
