Hi pimpers! I'm new at pimp rollers but not a newbie, decided to get back in the game again! I have noticed a lot TGP's are banning auto-submitters now, I downloaded chameleon submitter yesterday and all I get is 404 errors! lol What do you guys think? No point in using them anymore? With so many galleries to post to it takes a age to do them by hand!
![]() opps! didn't see green horse's post guess its the same thing! All I'm trying to do with the galleries is to kick start some traffic to my site! lol |

thanks paul will do. I was a couple of years ago when I was doing this, but kept one eye open on things,just catching up on what is around now. To be honest I don't care for tgp much too, search engine traffic is still best even adult ones!

I just fired off a couple galleries today with
http://tgp.gallerysubmitter.com/?ref=pimproll and had about 200 confirm emails for my first submit under this username. It's free when promoting pimproll so it doesn't hurt to try. I have heard a lot of people bitching about chameleon and dreamsubmitter lately however. |

We've successfully installed the submitter on one of our servers, did it with the perl modules option. I'll see if we can get a little write up or some kind of technical help on what we went through and maybe that will help you out.

Quick write-up. You need to have the following modules installed on your server. Also make sure you know the path to Perl on your box...to find out the path type...
whereis perl Also, to see which modules you have/need, you can use the following script. You'll need to chmod 755 it, and perhaps change the perl path depending on the result of whereis perl. gallerysubmitter needs all the modules this references. Code:
#!/usr/bin/perl
@modarray =
(
'Socket',
'IO::Socket',
'Time::Local',
'Net::Cmd',
'Net::Config',
'DBI',
'LWP::UserAgent',
'HTML::Form',
'HTML::TokeParser',
'HTML::Parser',
'HTML::HeadParser',
'MIME::Base64',
'URI::Escape',
'Compress::Zlib',
'Net::POP3',
'constant',
'POSIX',
'Carp',
'Net::Cmd',
'Net::Config',
'Net::SMTP',
'MIME::Base64',
'Image::Size',
'HTTP::Request',
'HTTP::Request::Common'
);
print "Content-Type: text/html\n\n";
foreach my $class (@modarray)
{
print "$class ...";
eval "use $class";
if ($@) {
print "Not installed<br>";
}
else{
print " (version: " . $class->VERSION. ") OK<br>";
}
}
-- pimp_nate. |

If you're still having probs shoot an email to me rob@pimproll.com and I'll put you in touch with the guy that runs the gallerysubmitter program. He'll be happy to help you.
