Webmaster Tools. Post Here Please.
Hello,
I'm thinking of adding Pimproll to http://www.gallerysubmitter.com/ so our webmasters can use this tool for free. Is this something you would be interested in? Please list any tools that you would find useful as a webmaster. What can we do to help you make more joins/be more productive? Scripts, services, content,...whatever. Thanks, Rob |

I think that will be great service for some people.
What I would like to see is the promotional movie content, the more the better. I know itīs on the way,  Free hosting would also be great, and maybe a way to track traffic, like create campaigns or add some tag or something. Nice to see that you are willing to hear us on this matter. sumz |

Hosted free sites? I don't run a link list but my hubs are very similar to link list with all my free sites on it. I am sure many link list owners might be using them as well.

Thanks for the input. Soon you'll have so much movie content you won't know where to begin. This Video Team stuff I'm going through is awesome.
That's a good idea for stats, it's going on the list. Free hosting is also very doable. I will look into the free site idea for link list webmasters as well. Does anyone know if all the links for mgp's need to come from the same domain? For instance if we were to offer pre edited free hosted clips for webmasters to plug into their templates would they get listed if your templates are hosted on a different domain? |

Yeah that's what I was thinking, add new clips every week. Let you guys beat up on our servers. That way if you don't like our templates you can still use the content with your own.

Ok one more thing
is there any possibilities you can add selling points in text format for each site? It makes it easier when you know what exactly is in each site, I make a lot of free sites and landing pages for SE and that would be a big help for me and I am sure others will use it as well.

I used to work a lot with movies. Most MGP will reject you for hotlinking, even if it's from another of your own servers. They will also reject you for IFRAME tabs. In my experience there are more MGP that will reject you than will allow you, and the ones that allow you are so small you'll only get teensy traffic from them anyway.
And believe me, hosting for movie galleries is EXPENSIVE! The only way to let us beat up on Pimproll servers is to assign free hosting and subdomain us all, allowing us to copy the content to our own subdomain to use it. It's certainly not ideal though. Sorry I couldn't bring cheery news, Blum |
